Disneyland Paris 2014 Day 2

Day 2 started out right with breakfast at Starbucks.  When you don't want to pay for breakfast at the hotel, this is obviously the best way to spend your morning before the parks open.

Teacups sans Mom.  Can't do spinning…..
A touch of Maleficent behind the castle.
The villains parading through the park.
Look out!  New driver….and British style!

Impressive! ;)
Catching up with Captain Hook.

Oh why not….the spoiling continues.
We waited at least an hour to see Jack Skellington (Seriously….why are we waiting an hour to see this guy?)  But, when it is your kid's turn, and he spends a good five minutes with him and makes him crack up laughing, it all seems worth it.
Explaining the staring contest.
Who's winning?
Trying not to laugh!
A great pair!
Jack had him scream for the crowd.  Jack had no idea what Thomas was capable of in the scream department.  It was SO LOUD.  Jack was a bit shocked.  Hahaha!

Jack said, "Not a selfie…a SKELFIE!"
It was finally time to see Allison and the whole reason we were here!

So focused!  And, dead tired.

Dinner at Casey's Corner.
Parade time…ummm…perhaps we should have walked over here sooner.
Everyone was so excited to see Elsa, Anna, and Olaf!

Thomas: "Psh…that's not accurate.  She's wearing shoes!"
My Disney loving boy!
Everything about this pic makes me so happy!

Hollywood Studios
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster AVEC Aerosmith ;)  I admit it.  I'll miss French.
How many of these hot dogs do we have to eat?  I had chicken nuggets, and sadly, that was the best meal I had at the parks.  The food here is terrible!
Another great trip to Disneyland Paris.  We are looking forward to next year when both kids will be playing.  Thomas will be playing with the ISB band!

Until next time,
Wendy

Disneyland Paris 2014

It was time for our annual trip to Disneyland Paris to see Allison perform with the ISB orchestra.  Allison left on Thursday while I attended conferences most of the day.  Thomas and I headed to Disney on Friday morning.  Chris was in the States and missing all the fun (not really….Disney just isn't his thing.)
So excited!
This is the third time we've seen Disney decorated for Halloween. We are really hoping to get there in the next few weeks to see it decked out for Christmas.  Thomas and I now have annual passes, so that is a very good excuse to go back soon.

Our first ride was Pirates, and we walked right on to the front seat in the boat.

Buzz Lightyear!
Morton friends…who is wearing this to P-Fest next year?

Stitch and Thomas
We got Mickey all to ourselves.  It was great!
Mickey Selfie!
The new ride is Ratatouille.  Of course, Disneyland Paris should have this ride!  It's a 4-D experience from the perspective of the rats.  It's very clever and a lot of fun, but it's not so easy on those of us who experience motion sickness.  Ugh!  Thomas, however, loved it and went a number of times in the single rider line.
Maleficent was very popular at the park this year with the new movie.

Tower of Terror!  He wasn't so excited about this one.  He rode it for me.  It's one of my favorites.
Such a special time...just the two of us.

I love the fireworks.  The show is projected on water and the castle.

See you tomorrow Disneyland.  And, we were excited to finally see Allison too!

 Until next time,
Wendy
