Because You Haven't Seen Enough of London :)

You know how much I love London, so when Lucinda mentioned having her daughter Preslee's birthday celebration in London I seconded the decision.  We took the girls a little early from school on a Friday, and off we went to the land of English speakers.  We spent Friday evening in Soho and Leicester Square just taking it all in.  Dinner at Wahaca was delicious (of course) and dessert at Cinnabon was a highlight!

YUM!
We had a full day planned for Saturday.  First stop was Covent Garden for tea.
St. Pancras Station - Love those blue skies.
Sneak peek of what is to come later in the day.
This is the same place we had tea for my 40th birthday.  It was so good that we just had to go back.

Brandi and Farrah
Allison and Me
Lucinda and Preslee (the birthday girl)
The event started with tea being served.  Allison immediately started slurping her's off her spoon.  GASP!!!  Oh my word....we had a crash course on manners right then and there!

Phew...much better!
Oh the food was so delicious!  I ate way too much....again.

She thought this was just the best thing ever!  I'm sure we'll be having tea again when we return.

 Celebrating with a birthday cupcake!
Happy Birthday, Preslee!!!

Matilda was next on the list.  We did a little shopping beforehand and then saw this fabulous show.  But, Allison still says she likes Wicked better.

She loved the red door, and it just happened to have Daddy's favorite number on it.

Ready for a great show
Cool set!
After Matilda, Allison and I headed over to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.  The rest of the gals were headed to Wicked.  Since Allison saw One Direction twice this spring (and she has seen Wicked twice,) it was decided we would not see a second show. You have to draw the line somewhere!?
We had a blast posing with the statues.
Creepy real....

Caution....HOT wax!
This was the highlight of the museum for Allison.  The new One Direction section was recently added.

They look pretty real.
That is one happy girl!

I think she fits right in!
She. cracks. me. up!
Hmmmmm.....
Hangin' out with Spidey.

I was a little disappointed...Rob was the strangest looking one in there.  Bummer!
Awwww!!!!
Dang...we look good together. :)
And, to top off Allison's One Direction obsession, we had dinner at Nando's...Niall's favorite restaurant.  I'm in the running for Mother of the Year.  Ha!

What a day!  I was exhausted.  But the fun was not over.  Check back for Sunday fun in London.

Until next time,
Wendy
