From late April to early May (a bit later this year,) the bluebells of the Halle Wood are in bloom. This was my first opportunity to see them, and they were gorgeous. About 25 minutes from my house, these bluebells lie hidden in a forest that is a little tricky to. That just adds to the fun of seeing them! Ericka and I went out and got some shots on a Tuesday, and Chris and I took the kids two days later. There was rain in between my visits, and I was surprised by how fragrant the forest was on the second visit. It smelled just as pretty as it looked. I think Chris and the kids were a little skeptical about going (flowers are BORING,) but they were in awe of the beauty as well.
