We arrived home early Saturday afternoon (yes, that Dublin trip was too short), and Chris was ready for another adventure. Honestly, I needed one day to get caught up on laundry and just chill out. The kids had been begging for weeks to set up the trampoline. We really couldn't put it off any longer. Our old trampoline is now back in business. It was passed down to us from our old neighbors in Morton. Their boys outgrew it, and it has been the best gift ever. No cover over the springs…no net…old school trampoline. Love it!
After church on Sunday, Chris got his wish, and we checked out a new town in Belgium. About an hour and 20 minutes from our house, Durbuy is the smallest town in the world and dates back to the 17th century. It was very quaint and small….but the smallest town in the world? I didn't think it seemed THAT small. Apparently, they haven't been to Hartwick, Iowa where my family is from. Now that is SMALL!

| Charm all around! |
| There is plenty of adventure to be found…kayaking and go karts to name just two. We'll head back on a warmer and sunnier day for that kind of fun. |
| Because it was in the 60's, everyone was eating outside. But with that comes the smoke. Ugh! See that lady to the left…she smoked like a chimney and poor Thomas could barely breathe. That is one thing about Europe I may never get used to. |
| Every motorcycle owner in Belgium was in Durbuy that day. |
| The BIG rock! |
| Just checking out some of the cars driven by the locals. That's a ticket on the window. No, you cannot park it wherever you please…. |
| Ha! Looks good on you T! |
| We took the little tourist road train to the "cliff" behind the town. The views were great! |
I'll bet the views were even better from up there! Thomas is on the left and Allison on the right.

No day is complete without an ice cream stop. It was so good he couldn't even stop and smile for the picture.
That is Durbuy, Belgium in a nutshell. We look forward to heading back. If you want to join us, just let me know!
Until next time, Wendy |
