When booking our flights home, it was half the price to fly out on Monday, so (twist our arms) we just had to stay one more day. There was just one more thing I wanted to see in Rome, and that was the Villa Borghese Gallery. Tickets for this gallery must be booked in advance, and we I was thrilled to pay a visit.

We took the metro to see the Colosseum one last time. The moon was shining through. It was beautiful!

| Just what everyone needs....an old exercise bike in their hotel room. Interesting. That officially concludes our summer travels. I was in nine countries in eight weeks. This is a far cry from my travels less than two years ago. Who would have thought??? Looking forward to our next adventure. Until next time, Wendy |
