I was beginning to think the school year would never end. It was a terrific year, but June 28th just seems so late into the summer when you are used to getting out at the end of May. Here are some highlights from our end of the year celebrations.
I helped with Thomas's field day. Here is he doing the egg race.
The senior's shoes over the entrance to ISB. You know the end of the year has come when you see this!

Another year is over....
Thomas's last full day of school. He had one more 1/2 day to go.
The last full day of school is a special one for the sixth graders. They attend the Moving Up Ceremony. It is a special ceremony to honor their transition from sixth grade to middle school. They are released after the ceremony....which is probably their favorite part.
Sixth grade friends looking beautiful on the last day.
A special gift for Ms. Laphkas....a Kindle! She loved it!!!

The Moving Up Ceremony
Ms. Smith and the 6th grade quartet
The ISB 6th grade class. Allison is the one that looks like a lost puppy in the bottom right corner. Do you think she's nervous???
We were so proud of Allison playing in the quartet.
Receiving her certificate
School picture
Looking so mature. Stop growing up!

Saying goodbye to our friends for the summer.
And, saying "See you soon" to our friends who are moving back to the US. :( More on friends leaving in the next post. Thank you ISB for another fantastic school year. Until next time, Wendy
