One lucky boy in this family got to visit a chocolate factory here in Belgium! Mr. T. and his French class went to the Cote D'Or factory to learn how chocolate is made. The students had the opportunity to make their own chocolate and then place it in a wrapper they designed. He loved every minute of it...except the part where he had to wear a hairnet. LOL! In my opinion, the best part was when he came home and shared the bag of goodies he got from the factory. A friend referred to this particular chocolate as "really good grocery store chocolate". I would agree. We are quite lucky living in a place where chocolate is everywhere! Well, maybe that is a blessing and a curse....
Here he is showing off the wrapper he made. I'm pretty sure the chocolate was gone at this point. He sealed it back up to make it look good. He just couldn't wait to eat it!

Hope your week is off to a good start. Fingers crossed that I will actually get my car this week. More on that later...and information on the fabulous license plate system in this country. And, we are now official residents of Hoeillart. We received our residence cards on Friday. Whoo hooo!
